The amount of charitable credits that a cause receives is based on the activity levels of the consumers supporting that cause. So the causes and charities with the most active supporters receive the most credits.
The total sum of all donations is paid to the Top 100 causes and charities. The amount that each charity receives is always weighted by the number of credits generated by its supporters.
